The story takes place in in Manhattan. Treachery ID was full of fabulous scenes, clever dialogue and was just plain epic!

In addition, I got to see my favorite characters. I've recently come to audiobooks because of a vision problem, and being an avid reader I wasn't sure if the audio version would hold up, but I wasn't disappointed.

It was nice to see her providing the emotional support to her friends, which you know if you read the series, is a big step up in her emotional development. The 'In Death' series is definitely one rbb my favorites, greatly due to the wonderful narrative efforts of Susan Ericksen.

A woman against woman There are scenes with Roarke and Eve that draw them out but with a minute or two left to the book there was a moment between Eve, her team and officers that had me shedding more than a few. This installment even has a very interesting twist in how Dallas and Peabody get involved. Good thing she learned the ropes from a master lik Treqchery Dallas and her partner, Peabody, are following up on a brutal, senseless crime — an elderly grocery owner killed by three stoned punks for nothing more than kicks and snacks. Although Peabody is terrified of the mess she has stumbled upon, jf reports the incident to her lieutenant.

She was nicely outwitted and outplayed. Also Webster gets a new romantic interest. At the same time Peabody comes into her own as Eve gives her more and more responsibility. I now have a dilemma Refresh and treadhery again.

I definitely understand why they love the series. She has so much to be proud of with her own squad and with her partner! The evolution seems realistic to a happily married couple. It's comfortable and entertaining and, as far as I am concerned, that is yreachery that really matters. Long may this series continue.
